According to the introduction, in recent years, China's medical quality safety level has been steadily improved. The inpatient mortality rate gradually declined and remained stable at a lower level. In 2015, the total mortality rate of hospitalized patients in tertiary public general hospitals and secondary public hospitals was 0.71% and 0.48%, respectively, 0.03 percentage points and 0.06 percentage points lower than that in 2014.
